Aside from publishing and teaching, what else is happening?

Conferences

This summer Dr Irving went to the Gordon Research Conference on the Interior of the Earth. In December she will be at the AGU meeting in New Orleans.

Committees

Dr Irving is a member of both IRIS' Global Seismic Network Committee (more information about the GSN here) and the AGU Fall Meeting Program Committee  as a representative of the Study of the Deep Earth focus group. CIDER

Dr Irving has taken part in the Co-operative Institute for Dynamic Earth Research summer programs three times - once as a junior participant and twice as a lecturer.
